RRG Kia Bury Partner With Golf 2020ProTour

RRG Kia Bury have announced that they have recently partnered with golf’s new gender equal 2020protour. Set up in late 2019 by pro-golfers Chris Hanson and Adam Walker the aim of 2020protour is to enable men and women, pro and amateur golfers to play in the same tournament with the winner – male or female -winning the same prize pot.

General Manager of RRG Kia Bury, Gareth Mawdsley commented on the partnership “As a keen golfer myself when Chris approached us with the idea of partnering with the 2020protour there wasn’t an option of saying no! Supporting local businesses and sports teams comes as second nature to us here at RRG Kia Bury”

“Golf was one of the first sports to be able to be played when restrictions were starting to be lifted during the COVID-19 pandemic and I can’t think of a better sport suited to being outside and more than two metres apart”

As well as providing tournament co-founder Chris Hanson with a Kia Stonic to travel to each venue, RRG Kia Bury will also be title sponsors for ‘The RRG Kia Classic’ tournament being held on Monday July 27 at Marriott Worsley Park.

Co-founder of 2020protour Chris Hanson commented; “Having had two family cars through RRG Kia myself over the last five years, I personally couldn’t recommend their service and cars enough. To be able to create this partnership and provide the members with such a fantastic opportunity is huge for the Tour.”

RRG Kia Bury has become one of the largest and most successful dealer groups in the north of England. Offering a wide selection of Kia models available to suit golfing fans with all their equipment as well as models for all customers – from the Picanto, Kia’s small city car through to the range topping Kia Stinger.
