The RAV4 Plug-in, Toyota’s flagship hybrid model, has been named as the most satisfying new car to own in a survey of more than 50,000 motorists by consumer champion, Which?.
The survey, conducted annually, lists the nation’s favourite and least favourite cars, based on customer satisfaction scores and the likelihood of an owner recommending their car model to a friend. This year’s survey results were based on the analysis of almost 60,000 individual cars, with respondents praising the excellent real-world fuel economy, value, driving dynamics and comfort of RAV4 Plug-in.
In highlighting the merits of RAV4 Plug-in, Natalie Hitchins, Which? Head of Home Products and Services, said: ”Owners of the Toyota RAV4 told us it hits the nail on the head for effortless everyday motoring, with superb practicality, a relaxed driving experience and the security of Toyota’s rock-solid reliability. The PHEV variant adds strong performance and very respectable fuel economy, even if you can’t keep it charged up all the time.”
