Homologated WLTP* test figures confirm bZ4X, Toyota’s all-new, electric SUV, can cover more than 300 miles on full battery charge.

Thanks to efficient motors and energy management, the official data show the front-wheel drive Pure model achieving 317 miles, with an efficiency rating of 14.3kWh/62 miles (4.3 miles/kWh). For the all-wheel drive bZ4X Motion, the official range is 285 miles with 15.8kWh/62 miles (3.9 miles/kWh) efficiency.

This level of performance is made possible by bZ4X’s 71.4kWh battery, developed with the benefit of a quarter of a century of Toyota electrified vehicle technology expertise. The quality of the battery is supported by an optional extended care programme for owners that guarantees battery capacity of 70 per cent after 10 years or 1,000,000km (620,000 miles) driven.

Built on a dedicated new platform for battery electric vehicles, using the eTNGA philosophy, bZ4X is the first in a series of new bZ (Beyond Zero) models. Offering sharp design, spacious packaging and authentic SUV performance. It also marks the debut of a new all-wheel drive system that uses individual electric motors on the front and rear axles to give outstanding AWD capability.

Toyota has announced a range of consumer offers for the bZ4X, with competitive contract hire and purchase arrangements. All vehicles come with a complimentary package that covers home and external charging requirements and roadside assistance.
