RRG Group centres have been celebrating awards success this week after claiming a number of titles at this year’s Manufacturer Awards.
Lexus Centre of Excellence Awards 2025
The week started off with the Lexus Centre of Excellence Awards 2025 taking place at The Grosvenor Hotel, St Pancras, London.
The awards recognise exceptional performance from Lexus Centres across the country in categories such as new and used car sales, marketing, fleet and business sales and omotenashi (hospitality).
We are delighted to announce that there were category wins for both our Lexus centres, Lexus Bolton and Lexus Stockportwith both centres picking up 2 awards.
Lexus Stockport were the big winners of the evening taking home the coveted Centre of the Year Award along with the award for Best Used Car Customer Service.
Centre Principal, Fred Goodwin was proud of the Lexus Stockport staff as he reflected on achieving the title of Lexus Centre of the Year: - “Well, we did it, Centre of the year, I’m overwhelmed. I’m really proud of the levels of professionalism, care and attention that the team put in every day. It’s that kind of attitude and enthusiasm that has led us to receive this title and hopefully customers will continue to experience that when they visit us.”
Lexus Stockport Sales Manger Paul Todd was equally delighted to pick up an award at the event– “I’m so proud for us to be awarded the Best Used Car Customer Service award at the national awards in London. The whole team have a constant focus on providing the best level of attention and service to all our customers and this is a fitting reward for their efforts.”
Lexus Bolton also celebrated the evening with double awards success, picking up the titles for Best Service Customer Experience and Lexus Insurance Performance.
Speaking on the evening, Lexus Bolton Centre Principal Wayne Hyatt said – “What a great night, to walk away with two awards is an awesome feeling and it is all down to the hard work and dedication put in by the team at the centre, I would like to say well done to everyone in the team for their efforts.”
This year’s awards follow on from last year’s success at the same event that saw Lexus Bolton take the Best New Car Customer Experience title and the RRG Group being honoured as Group Of The Year.
The awards follow on from the news that Lexus Stockport have also been recognised for how they treat their staff with the centre presented with Gold Status for Lexus GB ‘Best Employer In Town’ on 17th February.The award follows an extensive audit that was carried out in November 2025 that saw the centre receive an incredibly high score. Speaking on this recognition, Lexus Stockport Centre Principal Fred Goodwin said: - “I’d like to offer a massive thank you to all of our staff for their amazing contributions and congratulations to us all.”
Toyota Best Retailer In Town Awards 2025
Taking place in the same venue on the day after the Lexus Awards, it was the turn of Toyota to recognise and celebrate the efforts of their centres over the past year.
The RRG Group were represented by RRG Toyota Bolton who collected the award for Best Insurance Performance.
Speaking the morning after the event, General Manager Mike Byrne said: – “RRG Bolton won the Toyota Insurance award at last night’s BRIT awards in London. It was the first award that we have ever won at the BRIT’s, so I would like to say well done to our team.”
There were also creditable results for
RRG Toyota Bradford, Runners up – Insurance.
RRG Toyota Altrincham, Runners up – TFS.
North Manchester CDA, Runners up – Trade Parts.
Arran Bangham, Vice Chairman at RRG commented on the Lexus and Toyota Awards for Insurance performance – “We have enjoyed a strategic partnership with Toyota & Lexus Insurance Services for many years now and are honoured to see both Toyota Bolton and Lexus Bolton winning the insurance award at Toyota Best Retailer in Town & Lexus Centre of Excellence awards. The win is testament to the team’s hard work and also reflective of the whole groups approach to insurance”
Mazda All Stars Awards
Mazda has recognised the top performing dealerships, across the sales and aftersales departments in its annual All-Stars awards. Now in its seventh year, the awards celebrate dealerships that placed within the top 25 in the 2025 Mazda Sales and Aftersales leagues, alongside top performing dealers within Fleet and Used Cars. The evening also celebrates a group of ‘star performers’ - individuals that are nominated for individual stand out performance and contribution in their areas.
We are delighted to announce that previous All Stars award winners RRG Mazda Stockport picked up their latest title, this time being recognised for Fleet Specialist Dealer at the event with RRG Mazda Fleet Specialist Mark Bades collecting the award from Steve Tomlinson, Head of Fleet at Mazda Motors UK Limited.
