PEUGEOT UK has introduced new pricing across its 208, 2008, 3008 and 5008 models, following the pricing repositioning of the recently launched New 308 and New 408. The changes result in lower entry points across the entire PEUGEOT car range, making the brand more accessible to a wider range of customers across both retail and fleet markets.*
The new pricing applies to all powertrains (ICE/hybrid, plug-in hybrid and electric) and trim levels, with revised starting prices for each model as follows:
Nicola Dobson, Managing Director, PEUGEOT UK, said:“These changes strengthen PEUGEOT’s position in the mainstream market by making our range more accessible than ever to both retail and fleet customers. We’re broadening our appeal while continuing to offer the sophisticated design, high-quality interiors, engaging driving experience and innovative technology for which we are known. The revised pricing supports our retail growth and enhances our competitiveness for company car drivers and fleet operators alike.”
PEUGEOT offers the widest electric vehicle line-up of any mainstream European brand, with a total of nine electric car models - seven of which are eligible for a £1,500 saving through the UK government’s Electric Car Grant (ECG). The adjusted OTR list pricing on E-3008 means that the 73kWh 210hp version now meets the eligibility criteria for the £1,500 grant across all trim levels (Allure, Allure Premium and GT), making this an even more attractive proposition within the electric C-SUV segment.**
As a result of the new pricing structure, many customers will also benefit from lower VED (road tax), with fewer models attracting the Expensive Car Supplement. This is currently £440 per year, applicable in years two to six on ICE vehicles with a list price over £40,000 and on electric vehicles with a list price over £50,000.
All versions of E-3008 and E-5008 are now below the £50,000 threshold, saving customers £2,200 in road tax over the first six years of ownership. All versions of the 3008 HYBRID 145 e-DSC6 also fall below the £40,000 ICE threshold, as does the 3008 Allure Plug-in Hybrid 225 e-DSC7.
The pricing realignment further strengthens PEUGEOT’s appeal to fleet operators and company car drivers, with lower list prices directly reducing Benefit-in-Kind (BiK) taxation. This is particularly significant for electric and low-emissions models, where reduced P11D values translate into lower monthly tax liabilities for drivers and improved whole-life costs for businesses. As a result, PEUGEOT’s line-up offers an increasingly compelling proposition for fleets transitioning to electrified vehicles while maintaining cost efficiency.
PEUGEOT’s core electric models all benefit from the PEUGEOT ELECTRIC PROMISE, designed to reassure customers about the reliability and charging of all-electric models:
*Excluding LCV-derived E-RIFTER and E-TRAVELLER
**Subject to government approval
