The WLTP (Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicles Test Procedure) is used to measure fuel consumption and CO2 figures. Figures shown are for comparison purposes and should only be compared to the fuel consumption and CO2 values of other cars tested to the same technical standard. Official Fuel Consumption in MPG (l/100km) and CO2 emissions (g/km) for the 408 Hybrid are: Combined 55(5.1) - 56(5.0) and CO2 113 - 116g/km. For comparison purposes only. Range up to 53 miles WLTP

The New 408 Plug-In Hybrid range requires mains electricity for charging. The WLTP (Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicles Test Procedure) is used to measure fuel consumption, electric range and CO2 figures. Figures shown are for comparison purposes and should only be compared to the fuel consumption, electric range and CO2 values of other cars tested to the same technical standard. The figures displayed for the Plug-in Hybrid range were obtained using a combination of battery power and fuel. Official Fuel Consumption in MPG (l/100km) and CO2 emissions (g/km) for the New 408 Plug-in Hybrid are: Combined 97.8(2.9) - 109(2.5) and CO2 56 - 60g/km. Equivalent All Electric Range: 49 - 53 miles. Range achieved in real world may differ according to factors such as accessories fitted, battery condition, weather, driving style and vehicle load.
How does the WLTP work?
The range of an electric car according to the WLTP (Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicles Test Procedure) is measured under standardised laboratory conditions. The test simulates a mixed route including city, road, and highway driving, with variations in speed and acceleration.
It lasts 30 minutes and covers about 14 miles, with a controlled temperature of around 23°C. The range is calculated by measuring energy consumption (kWh/100 km) and the total battery capacity. However, in real-world conditions, factors such as weather, driving style, and air conditioning use can reduce this range.
