The e-Expert is driven by a 100kW electric motor – equivalent to 136hp and 260Nm of torque.

This is combined with a single-speed transmission, so that like a van with an automatic gearbox, all you need to do is select Drive and press the accelerator.

A range of options to suit you With a 100% electric motor, the new PEUGEOT e-Expert offers two different ranges, three body lengths, up to 1000kg towing capacity and payloads of up to 1275kg.

Two braking modes - Moderate and Emphasised.

The first is the standard mode, the second is activated by pushing a B (for Brake) button near the gear selector, and increases the amount of resistance the electric motor applies when you lift off the accelerator.

The more resistance, the more the deceleration helps to recharge the batteries, extending the driving range.

The PEUGEOT e-EXPERT version is further confirmation of PEUGEOT taking the lead in a market which is experiencing increased legislation and the implementation of ultra low emission zones in key cities, with the potential of only allowing zero emission vehicles to enter in the future.

Two levels of range (124 miles and 186 miles WLTP), will allow customers to select a vehicle which suits their daily driving needs, with the majority of business professionals commuting less than 186 miles a day.

Buyers will be able to choose from two battery options:

  • 50 kWh, for a range of 124 miles (WLTP),
  • 75 kWh, for a range of 186 miles (WLTP).

By remaining faithful to the PEUGEOT brand's concept of ‘The Power of Choice’, the PEUGEOT e-EXPERT will offer the extra efficiency of an electric drivetrain while retaining the same loadspace volumes of diesel versions.

The new PEUGEOT e-EXPERT will be launched in the second half of 2020 and will carry on the undisputed success of the PEUGEOT EXPERT range since its launch in 2016, with more than 170,000 units sold globally. It will also strengthen PEUGEOT’s leadership of the LCV market in Europe and add another electrified model to the PEUGEOT range, alongside the e-Boxer, e-208, e-2008, 3008 HYBRID4, 508 HYBRID and 508 SW HYBRID.
