Designed to impress Driving Electrified: The New All-Electric Lexus UX delivers an amazing electric driving experience, yet embodies all the legendary values of a Lexus. Paramount among the challenges put to the designers responsible for the New All-Electric Lexus UX was to create a fun-to-drive all-electric luxury compact SUV based on the stunning Lexus UX. From first glance, this is every inch a UX. The signature grille, the sculpted lines and aerodynamic wheel arches. The LED rear light shaped to improve handling and performance. The roominess of the cabin. This strikes you as an electric car that won’t accept compromises.

Drawing on over 15 years of leadership in electrification, Lexus engineers designed the New All-Electric Lexus UX to accommodate the latest compact lithium-ion battery technology below the rear seats and under the cabin floor, scarcely impacting on the rear seating or luggage space, and delivering an optimal balance of range and performance.

Living electric The array of connected services developed for your New All-Electric Lexus UX starts with the charging station finder on the bespoke Lexus Link app, giving you access to a pan-European network of public charging stations. Leather seats 'Sashiko' Quilting The smooth leather upholstery available on the UX 300e is inspired by ‘sashiko’, a traditional Japanese quilting technique which is also used in the making of martial arts uniforms. The quilted leather is decorated with new perforation patterns that form mathematical curves and gradations in perfect alignment, enhancing the appearance of the seats.

Imaginative technology With wireless Apple CarPlay® and wired Android Auto®, the UX 300e allows you to easily display and access some of your smartphone’s apps on the screen. A wireless charger is also available to the front of the centre console which enables a portable device or smartphone to be charged by simply placing it on the charging pad, eliminating the need to connect a charging cable.

Exterior & Design

At once, a connection is forged between driver and car. The commands of your foot are met with an instant responsiveness, heralding a sense of pure control that will continue throughout the journey. Every move is effortless, refined and precise. It is also quiet, you feel you are engaged with the road. This is electrifying. The experience is almost futuristic, yet, strangely, it evokes an earlier time. It’s like you’re reliving the original fun of driving in the city.

Supressing noise From the battery pack acting as a sound barrier, to the aerodynamic wheels and acoustic glass, much effort has gone into suppressing outside noise.

Deceleration modes The razor-sharp steering, low centre of gravity and extra-rigid chassis contribute to the pinpoint handling, while the super-swift acceleration is enhanced by the choice of four engaging deceleration modes.

Comfort without concession As with the exterior, the design demands of an electric vehicle have not been allowed to intrude on the roominess and comfort levels inside the New All-Electric Lexus UX.
