ŠKODA Warranty

We are known for our quality cars, so supply all our vehicles with a two-year unlimited mileage warranty, with a 12-year body protection warranty cover for all new ŠKODAs as standard. In fact, we are so confident in our vehicles that we can now extend warranty to five years or 100,000 miles against any manufacturing defects.

If you are looking to avoid unexpected potential repair costs, an extended warranty can be a sensible and cost-effective option. The warranty will commence as soon as the vehicle is delivered to its first owner. We know that there may come a time that you decide to sell you ŠKODA, so any warranty you purchase will be transferable to any new owners for the timespan of the policy. The warranty will then terminate on the anniversary date of the registration or when the maximum number of miles covered is achieved.

All wear and tear components will be replaced or repaired within the first six months or 6,500 miles† from the point of purchase. This includes parts such as disk pads, clutch release bearings, tyres, wiper blades, floor coverings, spark plugs, light bulbs, shock absorbers, and centre plates. All items which can be influenced by external factors or driving style will only be considered during this period. Beyond this, they are classified as standard wear and tear, so are not covered under the warranty.

The warranty excludes mechanical maintenance to areas such as doors, boot lids, bonnets, clutches, ignition and wheel balancing. Please contact us to confirm which mechanical adjustments are included in the warranty policy.

Any routine maintenance and servicing requirements are not covered through a warranty policy.

There are reasons why damage to a vehicle may be excluded from cover including:

  • Damage caused through failure to adhere to recommended servicing schedules
  • Any damage caused by improper use of your vehicle, motor sports or neglect
  • Damage from a collision
  • Any paintwork damage caused by external factors such as the climate, chemicals or industrial pollution
  • Damage caused through the use of non-original replacement parts
