A glimpse of the Škoda Elroq

The compact SUV’s shape has already been hinted at by one of the six automotive sculptures unveiled last year. Now, as the premiere approaches, new information is coming out, and not only about the appearance of the future electric car on the MEB platform.

In addition to the silhouette of the front view, Škoda is revealing some specific details about the newcomer. “This is the preview of the first Škoda model to incorporate the new Modern Solid design language, says Škoda’s chief designer Oliver Stefani.

He also tells us we can look forward to a convex bonnet shape featuring the new Škoda logo in the form of lettering. The car will also get a Tech-Deck Face radiator grille, which is a modern interpretation of the traditional Škoda grille. This will be complemented by split headlights at the front.

The Elroq will be sleek and robust and, as is customary for Škoda, will offer generous interior space thanks to the use of the MEB platform.
