FREE CHARGEPOINT INSTALLATION

A home chargepoint is the most convenient and cost-effective way of charging your electric car.

Motability can only arrange a chargepoint installation at your home for your first fully electric car on the Motability Scheme.

Motability will arrange and cover the cost of a home chargepoint and a standard installation. You’ll have to pay extra if you need a non-standard installation.

To qualify for the Motability Scheme, you must be in receipt of the Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance, the Enhanced Rate of Mobility Component of the Personal Independence Payment (PIP), War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement or the Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP). Applications must be received and accepted by Motability Operations from 1st July to 30th September 2023. Offers may be withdrawn at any time and are subject to availability.
