All-New Mazda CX-6e UK Pricing Announced

Mazda has announced UK pricing and specification for the all-new Mazda CX-6e, its latest all-electric SUV. Arriving in the UK later this year, the CX-6e will be available in two highly specified grades: the £42,990 Takumi and flagship £45,350 Takumi Plus.

Unveiled at the Brussels Motor Show earlier this year, the CX-6e combines Mazda’s distinctive design language with advanced electric technology and a focus on driving enjoyment. Powered by a 78kWh LFP battery and rear-mounted electric motor, it produces 258PS and 290Nm of torque, delivering responsive acceleration through the rear wheels.

The CX-6e accelerates from 0–62mph in 7.9 seconds and has a top speed of 115mph, while offering a WLTP range of up to 300 miles. Rapid DC charging at up to 200kW allows the battery to charge from 10–80% in just 24 minutes, while 11kW three-phase AC charging is supported for convenient home and workplace charging.

Technology is central to the CX-6e’s cabin, with both grades featuring a large 26.45-inch touchscreen with a customisable dual-screen layout, alongside a head-up display and gesture control. Voice recognition allows drivers to perform everyday functions such as adjusting the temperature, opening the windows and setting destinations, while wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are also included.

The Mazda CX-6e also comes with its own dedicated smartphone app, providing remote functions including battery charge management and Bluetooth key sharing. A comprehensive suite of driver assistance technology is supported by high-definition cameras, millimetre-wave radar and ultrasonic sensors. Standard safety features include Smart Brake Support, Lane Keeping Assist and Blind Spot Monitoring, alongside nine airbags.

The flagship Takumi Plus adds further premium equipment, including 21-inch wheels, digital rear-view and side cameras, ambient lighting, heated outer rear seats and ventilated outer rear seat bases. Takumi models come with 19-inch wheels as standard, with 21-inch wheels available as a £1,000 option.

Inside, customers can choose from a range of Maztex finishes, including Stone or Black on Takumi models and a two-tone Amethyst and White option on Takumi Plus. Mazda’s vegan alternative to leather, Maztex is designed to combine comfort and durability with easy maintenance.

The CX-6e also offers the practicality expected from a mid-sized SUV. Its 468-litre luggage capacity expands to 1,434 litres with the rear seats folded, while a 2,902mm wheelbase provides generous space for passengers. Mazda’s design philosophy of Ma, centred around the beauty of empty space, has helped create a spacious and uncluttered interior.

Visually, the CX-6e develops Mazda’s Kodo – Soul of Motion design philosophy for the electric era. Its “Soulful Futuristic Modern” styling combines sculpted surfaces with a sleek profile and short overhangs, with seven exterior colours available, including the distinctive Nightfall Violet hero colour.

Jeremy Thomson, Managing Director of Mazda Motors UK, said: “Hot on the heels of the Mazda6e, the CX-6e combines great design, driving enjoyment, and advanced technology and I know how excited our UK dealers are about this car’s arrival.”

He added that the competitive pricing would make the CX-6e a compelling proposition in the growing electric SUV market, highlighting its combination of efficiency, performance and technology while supporting Mazda’s wider ambition to expand its electric portfolio and reduce CO₂ emissions.

Following the introduction of the Mazda6e, the CX-6e represents another significant step in Mazda’s electrification strategy. Together, the two models strengthen the brand’s growing range of electric vehicles while supporting its wider Multi-Solution approach to future mobility.
