The Motability Scheme enables people to become more mobile and independent with a new car lease. Even if you are unable to drive, you can nominate up to three people to do so on your behalf.
A range of Toyota vehicles are available as part of the scheme – ranging from the compact Aygo to the hybrid Prius. We aim to make our vehicles more accessible and easier to drive. For example, passenger mobility seats are designed, tested, produced and fitted by Toyota, and a number of other vehicle adaptions are available through the carmaker’s partnership with Autoadapt Sweden.
Motability vehicles now come with an average yearly mileage allowance of 10,000 miles a year equating to a 30,000-mile allowance over the course of a three-year lease. Once your lease is up, you can start again with a brand-new vehicle. As well as a car, the scheme also covers insurance, road tax, accident and breakdown cover, plus all servicing and maintenance.
