The Peugeot 308 is a classy family hatchback with plenty of space and lots of equipment.
The popular Peugeot 308 has been in production since 2007, with the second generation launched in 2013, and given a facelift in 2017. Recent models feature bold contours, stylised headlights with LED daytime running lights, and the distinctive chrome-trimmed grille. If you want a convertible version of the Peugeot 308 you will need to choose an Mk1 edition.
Second generation models feature the Peugeot i-Cockpit with its compact steering wheel, head-up display and touchscreen. Satnav is standard on more recent models, and this can be operated via the touchscreen, as can the air conditioning. You will find automatic headlights and wipers on many versions of the Peugeot 308, while higher spec editions add front parking sensors and electrically folding door mirrors for stress-free driving. Top of the range models may also include massage seats for added comfort. For a sportier appearance, look out for a used Peugeot 308 GT Line, which will give you tinted windows, alloy wheels and premium aluminium trims inside.
Engine choices for the Peugeot 308 include PureTech turbo petrol options and BlueHDi diesel editions, with automatic transmission available with some engines. CO2 emissions start from 82g/km on newer models, and fuel efficiency is as high as 80.7mpg.
