Parts Advisor

Description
At RRG Mazda Stockport we are looking for proven experience in a parts position and above all, candidates must have experience dealing with the public providing an efficient front-line service to them. Main duties will include dealing with customer enquiries, liaising on the telephone and serving parts to in-house and retail customers. Essentially candidates will be excellent communicators, work well within a team and be I.T literate. Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous although not essential. Apprentice Light Vehicle Technician

Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Apprentice Light Vehicle Technician at RRG Toyota Stockport, part of the highly successful RRG Group. We expect our Vehicle Technicians to be able to carry out a wide variety of tasks from routine vehicle maintenance and servicing to complete component overhaul. They also use the very latest hi-tech diagnostic procedures and equipment on the most sophisticated electronic and computer controlled vehicle systems.
You should be able to demonstrate an interest in computers and vehicle technology, able to show that you can work well as part of a team, of suitable academic ability i.e. GCSE grade A-C in Maths, English and Science and willing to study hard on one of the industry's most advanced Apprenticeship Schemes.
When you've finished the 3 year Scheme, you will be awarded the following qualifications: an NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, an IMI Technical Certificate and an Advanced Apprenticeship Certificate.
The Apprenticeship is over a three year period and involves block release to the training centre in Nottingham for two week periods 3 or four times per year, so they will be expected to be away from home between Monday and Friday of each week of Block Release. Obviously all expenses are covered and travel arrangements are organised by the dealership. Each Apprentice is assigned to a Training assessor who monitors progress and is also present to supervise apprentices whilst staying at the boarding house.
Normal working hours are 40 hours per week; you may also be required to work Saturday’s at overtime rate. Trainee rate of pay in conjunction with the NMW for Modern Apprenticeships and benefits as expected of a large organisation.

Light Vehicle Technician

Description
We require a fully qualified NVQ Level 3 Light Vehicle Technician to work for the RRG Peugeot Rochdale dealership, part of the highly successful RRG Group.
The experienced technician must be able to work well within a team and be dedicated to providing an excellent service. Experience of working previously for the Peugeot franchise will be advantageous although not essential. Competitive salary plus bonuses/incentives as expected of a large organisation.
Normal working hours are an average of 44.5 hours per week: Monday to Friday 8:30am through to 5:30pm with half an hour unpaid break for lunch. You will also be required to work alternate Saturdays 8:30am through to 12:30pm which will be part of the normal working week.

Quality Controller

Description
At the RRG Accident Repair Centre, Pendlebury which is part of the highly successful RRG Group we are looking to recruit a full-time Quality Controller. The main responsibility of the Quality Controller will be to ensure vehicles are repaired to the highest standard by continuous quality control checks within the Bodyshop environment as would be expected in the RRG Group. Main duties also include liaising where necessary to report faults to the Management team and ensure rectification whilst ensuring safe working practices are always followed. Ideally the successful candidate will have proven experience in a similar type of role or will be a fully qualified Bodyshop Painter or Panel Beater looking to progress to a Quality Controller position. Competitive basic plus bonus and benefits as expected of a large organisation.
Normal working hours are Monday to Friday 8:00am through to 5:30pm with half an hour unpaid break for lunch. You will also be required to work Saturdays 8:00am through to 12:00pm.
