Kia Ceed Sportswagon

Meet the Kia Ceed Sportswagon. It combines assured, athletic design with heaps of space and a dynamic drive. At the front, it shares the hatchback’s design credentials, while the low, sleek profile with its chrome-framed windows extends further than ever before. Plus, the sleek roof rails give you the freedom to add whatever you need. So let nothing stop you

Make space work for you

The new Kia Ceed Sportswagon is an expert at making space work for you. Simply engage the lever in the luggage compartment to fold flat the seats remotely. Thanks to the 40:20:40 split, the rear space adapts to your needs – great for transporting sport equipment or other long items.

Connect with bold design

A new dedicated closed sporty grille with a dynamic tiger nose brings more athletic and sophisticated styling than ever to the space and versatility of the Ceed Sportswagon’s estate body shape. With a floating wing themed lower garnish in satin chrome, a newly designed triangular air curtain side garnish, plus a distinctive new front bumper.

Premium in every detail and finish

Versatile and refined, with premium-touch finishes throughout, the interior features new synthetic leather and cloth seats and a leather steering wheel that perfectly complement the dynamic driving position. While the grey headlining and wide sunroof add to the sense of spaciousness. With a driver-centric cockpit that excels in ergonomic comfort and empowering high-tech, this cabin gets everything right.

MILD HYBRID DRIVE

Use smart power assistance.

Extra power for low-emission driving with no plug-in recharging needed. By cleverly pairing a diesel engine with a 48-volt lithium-ion battery, Kia’s mild hybrid system in Ceed Sportswagon can reduce fuel consumption and vehicle emission levels. What’s more, the integrated ‘e-system’ recovers kinetic energy during deceleration phases to provide torque assistance when accelerating.

Starting, torque assist, cruising.

Battery power helps the engine work more quietly, adding torque and using less fuel. The engine is started by the ‘e-system’ to ensure a prompt and smooth start. During acceleration or uphill driving, the ‘e-system’ provides torque assistance by taking energy from the battery. When cruising at constant speed, the combustion engine partially recharges the battery if the charge level is low.

Coasting, recharging, stop & start.

Mild hybrid technology lowers fuel costs and emissions with no extra effort to you! On models with iMT 4 , when you lift your foot from the throttle and let the car coast the engine switches off, resulting in fuel savings. When decelerating or braking, the energy generated by the vehicle motion recharges the battery. When decelerating to a stop, the combustion engine turns off automatically to save fuel.

Kia Connect On-Board Services 1

Kia Connect services power your Kia with a number of connected services. Navigation is performed using live traffic data for the best possible route and journey time estimate, and your destination searches draw their results from the internet for maximum accuracy and relevance. You also have access to weather information, as well as live fuel prices for stations around you. And when you’ve almost arrived at your destination, Kia Connect helps you find public parking spaces, with pricing and availability for parking locations near you.

Kia Connect App Services 2

Interact with your Ceed wherever you are. With the Kia Connect app, you can get the status of your car such as the distance it can travel or whether all doors are properly closed - at a glance, and you get notified if anything seems wrong. You also have access to a number of convenience features like Send To Car, which lets you select a destination on your phone and send it to your Ceed. You can also create a user profile so your preferred vehicle settings – like the orientation of the map or how your Ceed alerts you to speed cameras - apply once behind the wheel. When you park your car before arriving at your exact destination, the Kia Connect app can also provide you guidance to complete the journey on foot.

The system controls acceleration and deceleration to make sure your Kia Ceed Sportswagon stops when the other vehicle ahead stops. When the vehicle ahead starts moving again, you will automatically start moving as well.
Lane Following Assist (LFA) Keeps you centred and on course in your lane. The LFA system utilizes the windshield camera in order to monitor lane markings or the leading vehicle to make sure your Ceed Sportswagon remains centred in your lane. Available for all models with a manual and automatic DCT gearbox.
Kia Driver Assist Warning
Driver Attention Warning (DAW+) Data Technology that helps you stay alert and on course. The system notices if you’re losing concentration by monitoring the pattern of the steering wheel, acceleration and overall length of the journey. If your attention level seems low, it alerts you both visually and audibly. DAW+ also features a leading vehicle departure warning system that will alert you too if, for example, when in traffic, the car in front of you drives away and you don’t move.
