RRG to bring OMODA to Oldham

Jaecoo and Omoda are stand-alone brands under the Chery umbrella and will be sold alongside each other in the UK from March 2024 with expectations to have 100 UK locations by the end of the year and the RRG Oldham location set for a May opening.

OMODA

Omoda’s first model to go on sale will be the 5 SUV, offered with petrol or electric powertrains. All Omoda 5 models will come with a seven-year/100,000-mile warranty.

The electric Omoda 5 is expected to have a range of 280 miles.

Pricing for the petrol-powered Omoda 5 starts at £24,000. The electric version pricing has not yet been announced.

JAECOO

As a brand-new off-road brand, the name JAECOO is inspired by a fusion of the German word "Jäger" and the English word "Cool." JAECOO is tirelessly dedicated to innovation and breakthroughs, leading the new urban off-road trend with exceptional four-wheel-drive performance, remarkable safety features, and forward-thinking intelligent technologies.

The first Jaecoo model to hit UK roads will be the J7 mid-size SUV. It's expected to be offered with a plug-in hybrid powertrain, although specific technical details are yet to be confirmed.
