Three charging options offer drivers flexibility – use rapid public charging to reach 80% charge in around 30 minutes with a 150 kW fast-charging system, or plug into a socket or wall box at home. Toyota quality provides total peace of mind for battery reliability. Even after 10 years, the battery will still be able to achieve a world-class 90% of its original performance.

For rapid charging, you can easily find rapid charging points in a number of public locations. These highly efficient units are able to recharge 80% of your bZ4X battery in approximately 30 minutes.

Vehicle charging time depends on the power supply. At rapid public charge points, you can charge in as little as 30 minutes. Wall box charging at home or via a socket takes between 6.5* - 19 hours.

What's the difference between a hybrid and an electric car?
Hybrids and electric cars have a key difference. A Hybrid switches between petrol and electric power, and pure electric power, at Toyota we offer self-charging and plug-in hybrids, whereas a battery electric vehicle runs on battery power alone and creates zero emissions when driving.
What is the lifespan of the battery?
Our battery electric vehicles provide the same reliability as any other Toyota. Toyota bZ4X is covered by up to 10 years warranty* through our Toyota Relax programme, so you enjoy complete peace of mind.
