The Peugeot 108 ticks all the boxes if you’re looking for a great-value compact city car with a touch of urban chic.
At the front there are stylish black and chrome trims around the headlights and LED daytime running lights, while the rear features the distinctive Peugeot triple-claw lighting cluster. Tinted rear windows and exhaust finishers are additional features on the GT Line edition.
The Peugeot 108 is available in five trim options, all available in three or five-door models, except the entry-level Access trim which is available only as a three-door edition. The Allure edition gives you keyless entry, automatic headlights and a reversing camera as well as 15-inch alloy wheels.
If you want to give your car a personalised look, you can choose from a wide range of on-trend customisation options, including exterior paintwork themes, such as the smart dogtooth-patterned Dressy or contemporary Barcode designs. You can also opt for a dual-tone colour scheme, with contrast dividing line.
The 108 can seat four adults, and has generous boot capacity for a compact city car, with 868 litres of space available when the 50/50 split rear seats are folded down.
The 108 Top! edition features an electric roll-back fabric roof, which comes in a choice of colours – Grey, Black and Purple Berry. Noise in the cabin is kept to a minimum when the roof is down, thanks to a wind deflector.
As sponsors of the French Open tennis tournament, Peugeot has created a special edition Roland Garros edition Top! with tennis-themed interior.
The 108 is available with a choice of two three-cylinder engines, the 1.0-litre petrol or 1.2-litre Puretech petrol. The 1.0-litre engine combined with Active start/stop technology is extremely economical to run, with CO₂ emissions of just 88g/km, and delivering 74.3mpg. Even the more powerful 1.2-litre engine yields a very respectable 65.7mpg, and its 99g/km CO₂ emissions mean that whichever 108 model you choose, you will not have to pay road tax.
USB connectivity is fitted across the range, with DAB radio, Bluetooth and a seven-inch touchscreen on the Active edition and up.
Standard safety features include six airbags. The GT Line model has additional features to keep you and your passengers safe, such as lane departure warning and active city brake technology.
