The RRG Group has a proud history of giving something back and is no stranger to supporting local communities, charities and educational organisations.
We have worked with BEP (Business Education Partnership) alongside The Salford Foundation to support their programmes of linking businesses with education. The primary focus is to develop and practice enterprise skills such as communication, team work, problem solving, planning and to build confidence. All of the enterprise activities follow a common process whereby students are set a challenge and they work in small groups to find solution.
Working as Volunteers, recently members of the HR Team worked in local schools to support a number of different workshops such as Personal Finance & World of Work, Mock Interviews and supporting ‘Transition Days’ for pupils who will shortly be ready to make the step into high school.
We work closely with Cornerstone which is a day centre based in Salford providing services to adults facing a wide range of social issues including homelessness, poverty, social isolation, drug and alcohol addiction.Their aim being to offer support to clients, improve their prospects and enhance their quality of life. Employees can opt to have an amount of money deducted from their monthly salary which is paid directly to this worthwhile charity.
