Toned muscles, dynamic shapes, the roar of a V8 engine and a pulsing dance beat. The parallels between human shapes, movement and the power and athleticism of Lexus’s new flagship LC coupe have been captured in Man and Machine, an original new TV advert that will debut during the this year’s Super Bowl in the USA.
Man and Machine was directed by Swedish film and music video director Jonas Åkerlund, whose sophisticated, artful, and high-energy style dominates the look and feel of the spot – qualities amplified by the work of production stylist B Åkerlund.
The ad is the first for Lexus to be voiced by the British-born, Academy Award-nominated actress Minnie Driver. It also introduces a new global Lexus tagline, Experience Amazing, expressing Lexus’s enduring commitment to delivering the best possible customer experience.
