Five years after it made its debut, the latest-generation Prius Plug-in is set to hit UK shores, bringing with it a fresh new look and plenty of impressive features. This five-door car is now available in two trim levels: Business Edition Plus and Excel.
The newest iteration has received a dynamic make-over, which is most notable on the car’s front fascia. Here the headlights are even sleeker than before and are complemented by almost-vertical LED lighting either side of the vehicle’s radiator grille. The Prius Plug-in has an appealingly streamlined silhouette too, and boasts a number of eye-catching features, such as alloy wheels and body-coloured door mirrors.
A four-seat cabin provides front-row occupants with heated positions. The driver can quickly find his or her ideal position thanks to adjustable seating and a rake-and-reach-adjustable steering wheel. The latter is fitted with audio controls for ease of use when driving, and there are plenty of cubby spaces for everyone on board to make use of. Boot capacity stands at 360 litres with all seats up, and this can be increased to 1,633 litres with the rear seats folded. Upgrading to the Excel trim brings leather upholstery to the cabin.
