MOT - Service Technician

An opportunity has recently arisen for a fully qualified NVQ Level 3 Light Vehicle Technician to join the team at the newly refurbished RRG Toyota Macclesfield dealership.

The experienced technician must be able to work well within a team and be dedicated to providing an excellent service. Ideally, the experienced technician will also be an MOT Tester. Experience of working previously for the Toyota franchise will be advantageous although not essential. Competitive salary plus bonuses/incentives as expected of a large organisation.

Normal working hours are an average of 44 hours per week: Monday to Friday 8:30 am through to 5:30 pm with half an hour unpaid break for lunch. You will also be required to work alternate Saturdays 8:30 am through to 12:30 pm which will be part of the normal working week.

At RRG Toyota Macclesfield an exciting opportunity has become available for a Trainee Service/Parts Advisor. The Service and Parts Department are vital to the smooth running of a dealership. As a full member of the team, the Service/Parts Advisor primarily co-ordinates the movements of the customer vehicles through the service centre, liaises with the customer regarding service or repair, acts as a link between the customer and the service and repair team and co-ordinates utilisation of the workshop.

In addition, the advisor co-ordinates all parts sales to make sure that customers and Technicians are always able to have the parts they need when they need them. This involves using the Centre’s sophisticated computer system to log stock movements and produce orders, developing their selling skills to improve parts sales performance and dealing with enquiries from both trade and retail customers.

Parts Advisor

Essentially, we are looking for proven experience in a parts position and above all, candidates must have experience dealing with the public providing an efficient front-line service to them.
