Carrying over Mazda5's acclaimed functionality, Mazda's unique karakuri 6+ one seating system returns with improved comfort, class leading 2nd row cabin space and an array of storage features. Building on our first in-class rear sliding doors, our Sports models now boast power-sliding doors with added safety anti-trap touch sensors. All this adds up to the ideal family car.

New Mazda5 adopts the highly impressive 2.0 litre DISI (Direct Injection Spark Ignition) petrol engine, incorporating Mazda's i-stop technology which reduces CO₂ emissions by 15% and improves fuel economy in excess of 40mpg. Intelligent gear change technology has also been added to the 2.0 DISI model providing a smoother and more economical drive at the hands of the driver.

The model line-up also features a spirited 1.8-litre petrol engine and a 1.6 litre diesel engine*, both with six-speed transmission now standard across the range for greater driving functionality with improved economy.
